Dr. Batir Tursunov is the Deputy Director, ISRS. He previously served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Embassy in the PRC. He is the author of more than 25 scientific works published in Uzbekistan and abroad.
Gaurav Kumar is an Associate Fellow at the USI. His area of interest and expertise lies in the conflict in South and Central Asia with a particular focus on Afghanistan. He has a large number of articles, commentaries, and papers published in Indian journals and magazines.
Maj Gen Rajiv Narayanan AVSM, VSM (Retd) was commissioned in Dec 1978 in the Armoured Corps and retired after 37 years of distinguished service on 29 Feb 2016. He is an expert in mechanized and mountain warfare and has seen service along India’s both Western and Northern borders. His areas of interest include China, South and Central Asia, Indo-Pacific Region, Future World Order & Regional Multilateralism. He has authored over 25 papers and articles in various journals and magazines in India.
